BLUE VIEW 23/02/2015
Gentlemen you may be aware that there have been considerable changes to our league in terms of rules and age etc. I am aware that some of you can't read good so I had the Moodies in-house counsel provide cheat notes to clarify the nuisances of the new rules and things to consider.
Over 35's - In addition to existing rules.
1. Each team can have up to 4 players on the pitch at anytime aged between 30-34 years Old. (it is noted with Al, Paddy, Norm & Henry going to Victory the average age of the Moodies has dropped by 43 years you still need to have 7 over 35's on the pitch. Good news Matty & Adam finally got their 35+ cards - and free prostate examination gift certificates)
2. Any person who punches or kicks another player will receive an automatic 2 week ban. If any player commits the same offence twice, they will be asked to leave the competition. (Key word "twice". If you punch someone, head kick the next prick and according to Derek's rules you're still sweet.)
3. Any team that has a player sent off will no longer be allowed to replace that player with a substitute. (Not good for our often cardio challenged team. I suggest all on-field disputes be deferred to the previously utilized car park dispute resolution forum with El Andy as team captain)
4. If your team believes the opposition is playing an under age player, unregistered player or a player from another team that should not be playing, it is up to your team captain to bring this to the referees attention at the beginning of the game and decide if you wish to play for points or claim the points. (We should probably ignore raising this one as we intend to cheat at any given opportunity)
5. No slide tackles or excessive physical play. Excessive physical play will be determined by the referee. (Excessive racism will be determined by Uncle Millsy. Current legal advice confirms that not passing Millsy the ball or asking him for game fee's DOES NOT meet the bench mark of 'excessive')
6. If your team has 11 players you can not use a player from another team. (I feel like we're the only team that hates everyone else and never does this...?)
7. Registration must be paid before you can play. A discounted Registration fee of $50.00 is being offered for this season. However, it is only available if you pay your registration fee on your first playing night. (Like these c#%ts ever pay on time)
8. Unregistered players can not play. (It would seem Walsey is legally exempt from this rule not having paid rego since 1983)
