What's All the Fuss About - Oh Toe, Where Art Thou?
One of the great aspects of belonging to a club such as the Moody Blues Southern Hemisphere Football Corporation Pty Ltd is the diversity. Our cultural diversity is an absolute strength. If you look in the Moody’s roster past and present and you’ll find Kraut’s, Commie’s, boarder jumping Mexican’s, Pom’s, Wog’s, Scot’s, Black Fella’s, Turtles, half of continental Asia, the much maligned Kiwi’s and whatever the fuck Cunsami is…

Physically we have some guys who can run all day, some can sprint like cheetah’s, some can throw a half decent punch, some can whine at the drop of a hat, some can hit like a brick wall and some could run through one. In summary diversity is a wonderful thing. The down side to all this is how to treat injuries? More specifically Renzo’s injury.....

On the 8th of April it was a hot and balmy night and the Moody Blues were doing what we love. Beating Saints. From the side line I heard a sound which I can only liken to an air raid siren (if said siren swore in a cockney accent). From the sideline we could tell Moody’s hardman(ish) Renzo Will had been assaulted and sustained a grievous foot injury. I felt confident in this assessment because Renzo let him know, and then let him know again, and then let the ref know, then let his original assailant know, a near by Saints player know, a Team mate know, a passing car…

I was relieved when it stopped and then I realized my error that he was simply taking a breath to renew his articulation of the injury for those unclear over what had happened. Now I don’ t wish to sound unconcerned because I did ask him how it was after the game and he felt it was okay. I admit I did have some doubts when he sent me this picture of his foot when I initially followed up with him. I was then further relieved when he sent me a photo over the weekend proudly showing me the scars of battle he now wears proudly (see below).

Good on you Renzo. Five games in and one hand on Paddy’s trophy already. Go hard son. Paddy did want me to let you know that he was relieved to find out that no bin was harmed in the damage to your foot.
